Women’s empowerment (or female empowerment) may be defined in several ways, including
accepting women’s viewpoints or making an effort to seek them, raising the status of women
through education, awareness, literacy, and training.
With above mentioned view, the women development cell was established in college in 2019.
The creation of the WDC in the college is undoubtedly a significant accomplishment for the
institution in support of its goals for the empowerment of women there. Building a campus
that is gender-sensitive is the goal.
Objective:
∙To stop exploitation based on gender, it is important to educate students about the
social, legal, and constitutional rights of women. Educating women about the various
forms of violence—sexual, physical, and mental—and giving them the skills and will
to resist it.
∙To offer guidelines for the resolution of complaints involving sexual harassment of
female college students, teaching personnel, and non-teaching staff.
