FUNCTIONS:

• To prepare work distribution of individual Faculty members.
• Preparation of timetable and its display on the concerned class notice boards.
• Ensuring completion of syllabus on time & monthly verification of syllabus completion status.
• Periodic verification of academic responsibilities of the faculty members in the Department.
• Preparation, upgradation, and standardization of Lab manuals before the commencement of the Semester.
• Ensuring class/lab work as per timetable.
• Verification of adjustment & conduction of class/lab work of the faculty applying for leave.
• Coordinating with the library committee to ensure the availability of all the required books as per syllabus before the commencement of each semester.
• Verifying internal marks & scripts which are accepted & signed by the students.
• Submission of Internal Marks to GTU.
• Submission of any other required report to the Exam section.
• Ensuring a minimum of 60% result in each subject.
• Preparation of the list of weak students in each class & ensuring improvement in results by conducting bridge classes, slip tests, etc.
• Identifying meritorious students & guiding them for further improvement.
• Preparation of result analysis and display of 5 toppers' details on the class notice boards.
• Preparation of remedial classes scheduled for failed students in ensuring better results.
• Ensuring the conduction of GDs, guest lecturers, workshops & seminars.

• Preparation of Sessional exam schedules as per academic calendars of GTU.

• Should ensure the uploading of internal marks in the university web portal before the commencement of end exams.
• Appointment of internal and External Examiners for Practical Exams.
• Moderation of internal questions papers.
• Assigning invigilators for various examinations.

Ragging means abuse, humiliation, or harassment or other similar practices in educational institutions, across the world, of new entrants or junior students by the senior students. It often takes a malignant form wherein the newcomers may be subjected to psychological or physical torture.

At Laxminarayan Dev College of Pharmacy, ragging is strictly prohibited inside and outside the college campus. The anti-ragging committee constituted by this purpose by the college is empowered to take immediate action against any untoward incident and counsel the fresher. To enhance familiarity and to acclimatize the fresher to the academic and social environment of the college campus, the college organizes commencement celebration in the first week of each new academic calendar. All the students admitted to a college are required to observe and abide by the disciplines and rules prescribed by the college.

• The cell was established to protect students' interests without regard to their caste, creed, religion, language, ethnicity, gender, or disability.
• It also aims to end harassment and discrimination against college students by offering preventive measures that make it easier to punish those who engage in discrimination and to advance student equality.
• The committee shall investigate complaints from impacted students regarding discrimination based on caste, creed, religion, language, ethnicity, gender, and disability. Following an appropriate investigation, the Committee will provide a comprehensive report to the signatories, recommending appropriate action.
• In this regard, discrimination based on any kind of race, color, sex, language, religion, political opinion, national or social origin, property, birth, or other status is illegal, and everyone is guaranteed equal and effective protection against it.
